Call For Paper

The IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT), Malaysia Chapter is proud to announce the 1st IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Aerospace and Maritime (AMSAT 2027), which will be held as a hybrid conference on 19 April 2027 in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Local presenters are required to present onsite, while international presenters may choose either physical or virtual participation.

Under the theme "Advancing Sustainable Technologies for Aerospace and Maritime," AMSAT 2027 will bring together researchers, engineers, scientists, industry professionals, policymakers, technology innovators, and academics from around the world to exchange ideas, present the latest research findings, and discuss emerging challenges and opportunities in sustainable aerospace and maritime technologies. The conference will feature multiple technical tracks covering a broad spectrum of topics, including sustainable aerospace systems, maritime technologies, autonomous and unmanned systems, advanced materials, intelligent sensing, navigation and communication technologies, digital engineering, sustainable energy systems, resilient transportation, engineering ethics, and responsible technological innovation.

The conference is strategically scheduled prior to a major international aerospace and maritime event in Langkawi, providing an excellent opportunity for researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and technology innovators to participate in both academic and industrial engagements during the same week. This timing fosters greater knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration between academia, industry, and government, while enabling participants to benefit from the vibrant international aerospace and maritime ecosystem in Langkawi.

AMSAT 2027 aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between academia, industry, government, and research institutions while promoting sustainable, responsible, and human-centered technological innovations that contribute to safer, smarter, more resilient, and environmentally sustainable aerospace and maritime systems for the benefit of society.
